How to make an appointment?
In the patient portal MijnGezondheid.net (MGn) you will be able to make an appointment online. You can select a date and time that is convenient for you.
You may also call the clinic at +31 (0)40 – 711 67 30 and speak to the doctor’s assistant to schedule an appointment (see below “Speaking with the assistant”).
You are also able to request to be called back by the assistant at a time convenient to you. (see below “Request to be called back”)
In case of URGENT matters always call.
Cancelling an appointment
Canceling an appointment can be done by calling the GP’s assistant (see below “Speaking with the assistant”). Have you made the appointment online? Then you can move or cancel it by logging in to the patient portal MijnGezondheid.net (MGN).
Please let us know in time! If you have a 10-minute appointment, you can cancel this up to 2 hours in advance. If you have a longer appointment you need to cancel 24 hours in advance. If you do not cancel in time, we can charge € 15 euros.
Getting the results from a diagnostic test
You can request to be called back with the results (see below “Request to be called back”).
You can also call the clinic and request to be called back (see below “Speaking with the assistant”, option 4)
Speaking with the assistant
If you would like to speak to the assistant you can call the clinic at +31 (0)40 – 711 67 30.
A voice response system will guide you through the options:
1. In case of an emergency: you will be directly connected to the assistant
2. To cancel an appointment: you will be asked for your name, date of birth and details of the appointment
4. To get the results from a diagnostic test: you will be asked for your number and a time that is convenient to be called back
5. To make an appointment or another enquiry: you will be given the option to be called back or wait for the assistant to become available.
Ordering (repeat) medication
Your order will be available for collection at your pharmacy after two working days.
You can also order medication by calling the doctor’s assistant. (see above “Speaking with the assistant”)(Repeat) Prescriptions
You will then be requested to log on using verification through DigiD + SMS. This gives access to the functions of MGn (Dutch health network) where you can request an eConsultation.
You can only use eConsultation in non-urgent matters that you have previously discussed with your doctor and that do not require a physical examination.
Request to be called back
Here you can indicate if it is regarding the result of a diagnostic test or if you want to speak with the assistant. You will be able to select a time slot that is most convenient for you to be called.
You can also request a call back by calling the clinic and selecting option 5 followed by 1.Call back request
It is also possible to schedule a video consultation at SGE International. You can have a conversation with you GP from your computer at home or at work. This is convenient if you are unable to come to the clinic or if you rather stay at home or at work. Please note that only complaints which do not require a physical examination can be discussed in this manner.
How does it work?
You can call the assistant and request a video consultation. The assistant will then plan an appointment with your GP and will also send you an email with a link. Please click on the link around 15 minutes before the video consultation to set up the conversation. You do need to approve the installation of the software on your computer, after which you are directed through a process to check the connection, microphone and video. If all is well you are then automatically directed to the digital waiting room, where your GP will start up the conversation. Should anything go wrong, the practice will try and call you on your telephone number.
If you wish to do so, please contact the GP’s assistant at 040 711 6730.
Online Medical File – About MGn
Some of our online services use the online patient portal MijnGezondheid.net (MGn).
Through MGn you can set your preferences to receiving an email when there is a reply from your doctor on an eConsultation or to remind you of an upcoming appointment. Select the Preferences button in MGn to set your preferences.
DigiD is a secure method developed by the Dutch government with which you can verify your identity on the internet. We strongly feel that your medical information should be secure, which is why we use the DigiD with SMS authentication.
If you don’t have a DigiD or DigiD with SMS authentication, you can request it at http://www.digid.nl/en.
Unfortunately this governmental DigiD site is still largely in Dutch.
Note: if your browser is set to have Dutch as its’ first language, some of the text displayed may appear in Dutch. If that is the case, change your browser settings to English as the first language.
The realisation of these online functions has been partially funded with a contribution of the Metropool Regio Eindhoven.
